RIP Front Loader...

This past weekend, an integral part of our family passed on to... to... well, to the dump.  Our spry young front loader washer of six years, give or take a month or two, bit the dust! It's never a good sign when the spin cycle sounds like metal scraping metal!

It crashed just in time for the arrival of our laundry toting college student home for spring break! So... off she and I went to what might possibly be the most out-of-date and poorly maintained laundromat around town!  Off to the laundromat with our nine loads of laundry... and of course, my camera.

We listened to the never ending clang of quarters, loaded washers, poured the suds and softener, grabbed lunch at the Subway next door, talked, transferred clothes to dryers, danced to Sinatra playing on the iPhone, folded, laughed, stacked and left a mere three hours later with #kuwtp memories! Oh, and fifty dollars out of pocket...
